About Athens Fencing Club

Athens Fencing Club is a fencing club dedicated to the tactical sword-fighting sport known as "physical chess." The club offers classes in the three fencing weapons—foil, epee, and sabre—each with its own unique style and scoring method. Fencing is promoted as a low-risk sport thanks to protective gear and electronic scoring, and it is noted as an NCAA sport and one of the first Olympic sports.
