About Fuel Hot Yoga
Downtown Athens hot yoga studio offering heated classes for all levels.
Fuel Hot Yoga opened in 2011, and there was no hot yoga studio in Athens before it. Founder Jolin Conine completed yoga teacher training in 2008 after hot yoga helped her chronic neck and back pain, then built the studio at 398 Foundry Street in a historic downtown building with showers, a retail area, and a heating system that cycles continuous fresh air through UV purification.
The schedule runs Hot Yoga, Hot Pilates, Vinyasa and Yin — over 45 classes a week, all levels, hot rooms held between 85 and 100 degrees depending on the class, with non-heated options too. Fuel offers live-stream classes and a virtual library of 300-plus recorded classes. Scholarships for students who cannot afford class run through One Posture at a Time, a nonprofit founded by one of Fuel's instructors to bring yoga into addiction recovery. Google rates it 5.0 stars; Google tags it women-owned and LGBTQ+ friendly. Call (706) 353-9642 for today's schedule.
