Brownstein Adds Georgia Government Relations Staff
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is adding two government relations veterans to expand its presence in Georgia. The firm is bringing Amy Odom and Chuck McMullen from the Atlanta-based MCO Group, a government relations and strategic public affairs consulting firm. Their start date is Nov. 2, 2026. The move strengthens Brownstein's 50-state approach and public policy advising throughout the Southeast. Georgia was recently named the No. 1 state to do business in for the 13th consecutive year. Rich Benenson, managing partner of Brownstein, said the Southeast is becoming one of the country's most important political and economic centers. Melissa Kuipers Blake, co-chair of Brownstein's State Government Relations Group, said Odom and McMullen have built strong reputations as trusted advisors in Atlanta and throughout the state. Doug Friednash, State Government Relations Co-Chair, said the additions strengthen the firm's 50-state approach. Odom has more than 30 years of experience in government affairs, and McMullen has more than 25 years.
